Lemon Bottle

$52.00

Lipolytic preparation combining riboflavin, lecithin and bromelain components, supplied for adipocyte research.

SKU: LB Category:

A lipolytic preparation rather than a peptide — a combination of a vitamin, a phospholipid and a proteolytic enzyme.

About Lemon Bottle

Lemon Bottle preparations combine riboflavin, lecithin and bromelain. None of these is a peptide and the combination is not a signalling molecule: the proposed mechanism is physical and enzymatic rather than receptor-mediated.

Lecithin is a phosphatidylcholine source and a surfactant, studied for its effect on adipocyte membrane integrity. Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme from pineapple. Riboflavin is a flavin cofactor, and the characteristic yellow colour comes from it.

What the research covers

Research relevance is adipocyte membrane integrity and lysis, local inflammatory response, and the extent to which an effect is attributable to any one component. Because the mechanism is surfactant-driven rather than receptor-driven, selectivity between adipocytes and neighbouring cell types is the central question and the main limitation.

Published independent work on this specific combination is thin relative to how widely it is used, which is worth weighing when designing around it. For receptor-mediated approaches to the same tissue, the metabolic group is the relevant one. The skin and cosmetic research peptides hub covers the three mechanisms in this group.

Handling Lemon Bottle

Riboflavin is strongly photosensitive — it degrades visibly in light — so light protection governs handling for the whole preparation. Bromelain, being an enzyme, loses activity on heating and across unsuitable pH.

Keep cold, dark and sealed. Avoid warming, and do not assume the preparation is intact simply because it still looks yellow: riboflavin colour and bromelain activity are independent of each other.

Certificates, delivery and terms

This batch ships with the Certificate of Analysis carrying the batch number printed on its label; how that is tested and released is set out on the lab testing page. Delivery, customs and returns are covered on the shipping page, common questions on the FAQ, and quantity pricing through bulk and wholesale. Supplied for in-vitro laboratory research only: not a medicine, not a supplement, not for human or veterinary use, and no dosing or administration guidance is provided — see the research use policy.
