A written quote comes back with unit pricing at your volume, the lead time per line and the total, and it holds for fourteen days. Quotes are prepared by the same people who handle the stock, so the lead time you are given is the one they are looking at rather than a default. If your requirement is recurring, a standing order can reserve batch allocation in advance so a long study is not interrupted by a gap between batches.

Sequences outside the catalogue can usually be made to order. Lead time and price depend on length, difficulty and the scale you need, so both are quoted per project rather than from a rate card. Custom material is released through the same process as catalogue stock, with HPLC purity and mass spectrometry identity recorded against its batch number and a certificate issued before it ships.
