Hexarelin Acetate

Price range: $40.00 through $75.00

Hexapeptide ghrelin receptor agonist, supplied lyophilised for potent secretagogue and cardiac signalling research.

SKU: N/A Category:

The most potent of the hexapeptide secretagogues, with the fastest desensitisation and an additional cardiac receptor literature the others do not have.

About Hexarelin Acetate

Hexarelin is a synthetic hexapeptide agonist at GHSR-1a, structurally related to GHRP-2 and more potent than it as a growth hormone releaser. It sits at the far end of the potency-versus-selectivity axis that runs through this class.

It also has a second strand the others largely lack: binding to CD36 in cardiac tissue, which is a different receptor from GHSR-1a and gives rise to a cardioprotective literature independent of growth hormone release altogether.

What the research covers

Growth hormone work treats it as a maximal stimulus, with the known caveats — cortisol, prolactin and ACTH cross-activity, and pronounced receptor desensitisation on repeated exposure, which makes it a poor choice for chronic protocols and a useful one for studying desensitisation itself.

The CD36 strand covers ischaemia-reperfusion and cardiac remodelling models, where the readout has nothing to do with the pituitary. Studies conflating the two mechanisms are a recurring source of confusion. See Ipamorelin versus GHRP-2 for the selectivity trade-off. The growth hormone research peptides hub covers how this group splits between the two receptor families.

Hexarelin Acetate specification

  • Strengths available: 2mg, 5mg
  • Presentation: vial
  • Purity: ≥99% by HPLC, identity confirmed by mass spectrometry
  • Released against: the Certificate of Analysis for its own batch

Handling Hexarelin Acetate

Supplied lyophilised as the acetate salt. Robust dry, adsorption-prone in dilute solution like the rest of the short secretagogues.

The practical design note is desensitisation rather than storage: a repeated-exposure protocol will show a declining response that is receptor-level, not a degraded preparation, and distinguishing the two requires a fresh-solution control.

Solvent options are under reconstitution supplies.

Further reading: the Hexarelin guide in the Amino Club research library covers the mechanism and the published work in more detail.

Certificates, delivery and terms

This batch ships with the Certificate of Analysis carrying the batch number printed on its label; how that is tested and released is set out on the lab testing page. Delivery, customs and returns are covered on the shipping page, common questions on the FAQ, and quantity pricing through bulk and wholesale. Supplied for in-vitro laboratory research only: not a medicine, not a supplement, not for human or veterinary use, and no dosing or administration guidance is provided — see the research use policy.
