The potent end of the ghrelin receptor agonists — a stronger releaser than Ipamorelin, and correspondingly less selective about what else it releases.
About GHRP-2 Acetate
GHRP-2 is a synthetic hexapeptide agonist at GHSR-1a, the ghrelin receptor. It belongs to the growth hormone releasing peptide series developed before selectivity became the design objective, and it is more potent as a releaser than the later, cleaner compounds.
That potency comes with cross-activity. At research concentrations it produces measurable increases in cortisol, prolactin and ACTH alongside growth hormone, and it shows more of the appetite-related activity characteristic of ghrelin receptor agonism.
What the research covers
This is the appropriate compound where a saturating stimulus is wanted — pituitary responsiveness assays, maximal release protocols — or where the broader ghrelin receptor profile is itself the subject rather than a confounder.
Where the objective is to attribute an observation to growth hormone specifically, it is the wrong choice, because cortisol affects a long list of metabolic, immune and behavioural endpoints. Ipamorelin versus GHRP-2 sets out which fits which question, and Hexarelin extends the same trade-off further. The growth hormone research peptides hub covers how this group splits between the two receptor families.

Handling GHRP-2 Acetate
Supplied lyophilised as the acetate salt. A hexapeptide of this type is reasonably robust dry and adsorption-prone in dilute solution, so low working concentrations lose material to container surfaces.
Receptor desensitisation is more pronounced with the potent agonists of this class, which is a design consideration for repeated-exposure protocols rather than a storage one. Store sealed at -20°C and prepare solutions fresh.
Solvent options are under reconstitution supplies.

Certificates, delivery and terms
This batch ships with the Certificate of Analysis carrying the batch number printed on its label; how that is tested and released is set out on the lab testing page. Delivery, customs and returns are covered on the shipping page, common questions on the FAQ, and quantity pricing through bulk and wholesale. Supplied for in-vitro laboratory research only: not a medicine, not a supplement, not for human or veterinary use, and no dosing or administration guidance is provided — see the research use policy.
