Mechano growth factor with a polyethylene glycol chain attached — the same peptide, with a half-life long enough to be practical.
About PEG-MGF
PEG-MGF is the MGF E-domain peptide conjugated to polyethylene glycol. Pegylation increases hydrodynamic radius, which slows renal clearance and shields the peptide from proteases, turning a molecule with a half-life of minutes into one that persists long enough for a practical experiment.
The peptide itself is unchanged. What changes is exposure time, and that is a genuine experimental variable rather than a convenience: a sustained presence is not equivalent to a transient one at the same concentration.
What the research covers
Work mirrors the MGF literature — satellite cell activation, myoblast proliferation, muscle repair models — but with exposure duration as the distinguishing parameter. Studies pairing both forms are the ones that separate the effect of the peptide from the effect of how long it is present.
Pegylation can also reduce receptor affinity by steric hindrance, so a direct comparison against unmodified MGF is needed to establish that the conjugate retains the activity of interest rather than merely surviving longer. The growth hormone research peptides hub covers how this group splits between the two receptor families.

Handling PEG-MGF
Supplied lyophilised. The conjugate is considerably more stable in solution than unmodified MGF, which is the point of it, but the PEG chain makes the material more hygroscopic and the lyophilised cake more prone to taking up atmospheric moisture.
Reseal promptly, store dry and cold, and reconstitute gently — pegylated conjugates foam readily, and foaming at this molecular size means material lost to the air-liquid interface.
Solvent options are under reconstitution supplies.

Certificates, delivery and terms
This batch ships with the Certificate of Analysis carrying the batch number printed on its label; how that is tested and released is set out on the lab testing page. Delivery, customs and returns are covered on the shipping page, common questions on the FAQ, and quantity pricing through bulk and wholesale. Supplied for in-vitro laboratory research only: not a medicine, not a supplement, not for human or veterinary use, and no dosing or administration guidance is provided — see the research use policy.
