1. These terms of sale
These terms apply to every order placed with Amino Club. By placing an order you agree to them and to the research use policy, which forms part of these terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and purchasing as, or on behalf of, a researcher, research institution or business. We may request evidence of this and may refuse supply where it is not provided.
3. Products
All products are supplied as research materials. Product descriptions, including any purity figure, are specifications rather than guarantees of fitness for any particular purpose. The Certificate of Analysis supplied with the order states the tested result for that batch.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may change without notice. Payment is taken at the time of order. We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order where a price has been listed in error.
5. Delivery and risk
Title and risk pass to you on delivery. Estimated delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed. On international orders you are the importer of record: any customs duty, import tax or clearance charge is payable by you, and we cannot control how long customs may hold a shipment.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes any right you have under the consumer law of your own country that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our liability in connection with any product is limited to replacing the product or refunding its purchase price. We are not liable for any loss arising from use of a product outside its stated research purpose.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Amino Club is established. Where you order from another country, you remain responsible for complying with the import and possession laws that apply to you.

These terms of sale apply to every order placed through this site and sit alongside two other documents you should read before ordering: the research use policy, which governs what the products are and what you undertake when you buy them, and the shipping and returns page, which sets out dispatch times, delivery estimates, customs responsibility and the returns position. Where the three overlap, the research use policy takes precedence, because it describes the nature of the goods rather than the mechanics of the sale.
Prices shown in the catalogue are per unit in the currency displayed and exclude any duty or import charge raised at your destination. An order confirmation is an acknowledgement that we have received your order, not an acceptance of it; the contract forms when the goods are dispatched, which is why we are able to decline or cancel an order that falls outside the research use policy.
If anything here is unclear, ask research support before you order rather than after. We would rather answer a question about the terms of sale than unwind an order that should not have been placed.
Changes to these terms of sale
The terms of sale that apply to your order are the ones published on this page at the moment the order is placed. If we revise them afterwards, the revision applies to later orders, not retrospectively to yours. Changes are published here rather than announced, so if the terms matter to your procurement process it is worth reading them at the point of each order rather than relying on a copy taken previously.
If an order cannot be fulfilled
Two things can prevent an order being fulfilled after it is confirmed. A batch can fail release testing, in which case the item waits for the next batch rather than shipping on a result we are not satisfied with. Or an order can fall outside the research use only policy, in which case we decline it. In either case you are told promptly and nothing is charged for what does not ship. Where part of an order is held, the rest is dispatched rather than waiting.
How these terms fit together
These terms of sale govern the transaction. The research use only policy governs what the goods are and what you undertake in buying them. The shipping and returns page governs delivery, customs responsibility and returns. Where they overlap, the research use policy takes precedence, because the nature of the goods determines everything else about the sale.
Import duties and tariff classification are set by the customs authority in your country, under a framework maintained internationally by the World Customs Organization.
